The very 🥱 boring ways I use AI

This week: Everyone's talking about the ways they are revolutionizing their lives with AI. Turns out a great deal of them are lying. This week, I pull back the curtain on the very boring ways I use AI in my business. Hint: It focuses a lot less on speed and a lot more on nurturing relationships.

Hi Reader

This week I stumbled across a great article about how content creators are now essentially lying about how they use AI. All that revolutionizing? Not so much.

This isn't really a surprise to anyone who works with AI regularly, but I guess “Wow, look at all the stuff I can do with AI” gets more clicks than “Here are the boring ways AI helps my business.”

So, if you're feeling “behind” on AI, I thought you'd like to see the flip side. Learn the very boring ways I use AI to manage my business—especially my business relationships.

How I Use AI In My Business

I use very few full automations. Instead, I build and deploy a whole list of very small business engines. Each handles one specific task on demand. Nothing fancy. But they keep the little things from falling through the cracks so I can focus on the big picture.

For example, one engine is tasked with scanning my Notion-based CRM and sending me a note if I fall behind on outreach. (Boy, that one can get annoying).
